Major development! Addie is crawling as of yesterday afternoon!! She's been scooting herself backwards, pivoting and doing lots of "downward facing dog" poses for weeks, but something must have clicked yesterday. She is soooo pleased with herself. I now wonder if it won't be much longer before she's walking. She's constantly pulling herself up. She can even stand without support for a few seconds.

Addie is also starting to really interact with us. That's cool. She's reacted to us for ages, but now she's the instigator. For example she now plays peek-a-boo by hiding under her blanket until we say "Where's Addie?". The she pulls the blanket down with a HUGE grin. She's also getting really good at eating finger food. She used to palm her "veggie puff" and then jam her entire palm in her mouth wondering where that darn veggie puff went. Now she can grasp a single puff and stick it right in her mouth like a pro. This is all BIG news for mom and dad.

For the most part March has been pretty uneventful - except for the blizzard the first day of spring! We had a snow day, and it was great. We tried taking Addie out on the sled, but it was just way too windy. We did finally get out and play in the snow the day after the storm. It was Addie's first real encounter with snow. It was so pretty! It was a wet snow that just stuck to everything. I tried to snap some photos, but they don't really capture how pretty the snow was. All the snow is now gone, and the irises and daffodil's are peeking out. Bring on Spring!
